Merging of talents…former Bosley Medical & Medical Hair Restoration employees join together to provide better service to patients at a lower cost at Samson.

December 17 2003--Samson Hair Restoration announced today its official Grand Opening on January 1, 2004 as a new, innovative hair restoration company formed by a core group of industry veterans from the two leading companies in the field: Bosley Medical Institute of Beverly Hills, California and Medical Hair Restoration of Orlando, Florida. The new company is headquartered in Van Nuys, California with its first surgical center in Atlanta, Georgia.

While the company is new, the employees and physician are not. The company was founded by William McCullough, formerly the Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer of Bosley Medical where he spent almost nine years. The Atlanta surgical office is staffed by Stephen D. Leonard, MD, a ten-year veteran of Bosley where he had performed over 5000 hair restoration procedures involving the transplantation of over 3,000,000 individual grafts. Joseph R. Brown, formerly Senior Counselor with Bosley Medical for four years, is the business manager for the Atlanta office and a consultant as well.

"We are thrilled to be able to start Samson Hair Restoration with such fine quality people. There is a not a large pool of talent in this small field, but we have been able to attract some of the very best," commented William McCullough, President of Samson. "The quality of our surgical results will be at the very top of the industry as a result of having such an experienced team as Dr. Leonard and the nurses and medical assistants we have brought over. We are very fortunate to have them, and I guess we should thank Bosley and MHR for all their help," McCullough added.

The company will focus solely on surgical hair restoration procedures just like Bosley and Medical Hair Restoration. Samson's first facility in Atlanta opened recently and its second facility, located in Los Angeles, will open in early 2004. In each case, the staff will be highly experienced industry veterans. There are plans for additional offices in 2004, but no specifics have been released. "We believe there is a great opportunity to provide these outstanding procedures for people and make them more affordable as well. That starts with great employees. We strive to offer a highly appealing work environment so that we can draw those kinds of people and to date, we have been effective at that. Our marketing strategy makes our costs much lower than either of the two industry giants. That means lower costs to our patients." stated Bill McCullough.
